A story of our planet
65 millions years ago…
The original planetary reset occurred when the life extinguishing meteorite landed in the southern part of the Gulf of Mexico, north of the Yucatan Peninsula. This planet-altering event was the starting point of the Mayan Riviera cave systems. Millions of tons of sediment eventually created layers of mineral-rich limestone, allowing the lush jungle to develop and thrive.
Limestone Anomaly
The natural erosion in the limestone created the largest underground, flooded cave system in the world known now as cenotes.
3-meter deep cavern
The KAN cenote was a gift from the Gods when discovered during the beginning of the project. This serendipitous discovery caused a redesign of the project, allowing this glorious revelation to shine front and centre. The addition of a small waterfall allows for circulation throughout this fully intact cenote.
